Medicine reminder app

Never wonder “did I take it?” again.

Daybrim is a pill reminder and medication tracker in one. Set each medicine’s schedule once, get a reminder on time, and tap Mark as taken from the lock screen. Every dose is logged, so missed ones stand out.

  • Free during early access
  • Works on Android, iPhone & desktop
  • Reminders for the whole family

How the medicine reminders work

  1. Add a medicine. Type the name, strength and dose, or scan the box or label and let Daybrim fill them in for you to check.
  2. Set the schedule. Choose how many hours apart doses are and when the first one is due, whether that’s once a day or every 6 hours. Add instructions like “after food”.
  3. Get reminded. A push notification arrives on time, or a few minutes early if you prefer, even when Daybrim is closed.
  4. Mark it taken or snooze. Tap Mark as taken or Snooze 10 min straight from the notification. The dose is saved to your log with the time.

A dose log you can trust

Reminders only help if you can look back. Daybrim keeps a record of every dose: what you took, how much, when, whether it was before or after a meal, and how you felt afterwards. Missed doses are easy to see, and one-off medicines like a painkiller can be logged whenever you take them.

  • See today at a glance: taken, due now and later, on the Home screen.
  • Spot patterns: Insights shows how many doses were taken each week.
  • Show your doctor: the doctor summary shows your dose log and how many scheduled doses were taken, for any date range.

Discreet by default

Medicine names are private. Unless you choose otherwise, a reminder on your lock screen just says “Daybrim · Medicine reminder”, so people around you don’t see what you take.

Reminders for Mum, Dad and the kids

Add family members and give each one their own medicines and schedule. If a sibling helps look after a parent, invite them as a co-caregiver so whoever gives the medicine can mark it taken. More on caring for family.

Why a browser app for medicine reminders?

There’s nothing to find in an app store and nothing to update. Open Daybrim on any phone or computer, add it to your home screen, and allow notifications. Your records sync across devices, and Daybrim keeps working when your connection drops.

Daybrim reminds you of the schedule you enter. Always follow the instructions from your doctor or pharmacist, and ask them before changing how you take a medicine.

Can I set reminders for medicines taken several times a day?

Yes. Set how many hours apart the doses are, for example every 8 hours, and when the first one is due. Daybrim works out the rest and reminds you at each time.

Will reminders still arrive when the app is closed?

Yes. Once you allow notifications and add Daybrim to your home screen, reminders arrive even when it’s closed, and you can mark a dose as taken or snooze it from the notification.

Can someone else help with my mum’s medicines?

Yes. Add your mum as a family member, then share her journal with a co-caregiver such as a sibling. Each of you can see her schedule and log the doses you give.

Can I scan a medicine box instead of typing?

Yes, if you turn on the optional AI features. Take a photo of the label and Daybrim reads the name and strength for you to check before saving.

Is it free?

Yes. Every feature is free while Daybrim is in early access. We’ll give plenty of notice before any paid plans start, and you won’t be charged unless you choose one.

Do I need to download an app?

No app store download is needed. Daybrim runs in your browser on Android, iPhone and desktop. Add it to your home screen and it opens full screen and sends reminders like any other app.

Is Daybrim medical advice?

No. Daybrim helps you record and organise your health information. It does not diagnose, prescribe or replace a doctor or pharmacist. If symptoms are severe or feel like an emergency, seek medical help immediately.
